Engagement / Prenuptial Film
Like many movies or series, there is a prequel. This film is what we plan it to be - actual engagement, adventure, reenactment or a last reminiscence of the fun memories before you tie the knot. Use this film as 'Save the Date' or play it during the reception.

An Engagement Film is a separate filming day prior to your wedding. Thus is a very good opportunity to get to know you and empower you to feel comfortable in front of the camera.

I have several themes to choose from: Cityscape, Mountainscape and Seascape.

Videography
The Weddings of Real People with authentic smiles, gestures and reactions. A burst of laughter, a sudden tear, a moment of emotion - all shall be captured and tell the tale of the one True Love! Your wedding is your first day of forever surrounded by family, friends and your favourite pets. Adventscape understands this and thus, our priority to capture.

However, your film should also showcase the non-living that makeup your wedding. Your venues, rings, scenery and those odd moments that happened on your wedding. These shall be showcased in the best cinematography possible for you to remember where it all began.

Live Streaming
Helping the NSW Government fight Covid-19. Live Streaming is the best way to keep our Love Ones safe at the comfort of their homes but at the same time witness every minute of your story unfold!

Technology is amazing nowadays that you'll be able to locally watch an event unfold. We have a worldwide audience, that no matter where they are, they can be a witness and be a part of the big day.

We are currently working on inviting guests in our live streams. This allows them to be part of the speeches / toasts!

Same Day Edit Film / S.D.E.
A Same Day Edit Film is a Magical Experience.

Ask couples how they felt as they watch their stories unfold in front of their eyes right at their wedding! Asks guests how they felt as they saw themselves on film on the same day as the wedding! Have the Same Day Edit Film upload the next day for everyone to watch a beautiful summary of your wedding.

If you're interested but feeling unsure, what the 'CLIENT REACTION' on this site to find out how couples felt as they watch a Same Day Edit Film.

Legacy Film
Highlight films are very fun to watch. It's short, exciting, consumable and showcases the best cinematography while narrating your unique love story. It's truly amazing.

But what if it's too short for your liking?

Then you might like our Legacy Film. It's a highlight film 2-3 times longer - thus, it's 2-3 times amazing and breathtaking! We will pack this film with all the moments, hugs, cries, laughter, emotion and kisses so you will never ever forget every minute of your day. Once you finish watching, you won't watch anything else anymore.

Mangawhero Falls, NZ

Mangawhero Falls, Mt Ruapehu NZ

There are many waterfalls in New Zealand.  When we were creating our itinerary on the fly, we noticed that there are many very good waterfalls at North Island that is very accessible.  One of the interesting waterfalls is Mangawhero Falls.

Mangawhero Falls is located, nearly at the side of the road, going to the ski area at Mount Ruapehu.  Since it's close to the road, you just need to stop and walk 5 minutes and you'll see the waterfall.  Mangawhero Falls is also famous as it's a filming location to the epic Lord of The Rings Trilogy (LOTR).

If you're not a Lord of the Rings fan, it's also good to visit this place as it's just 10 - 15 minutes stop at  the side of the road.  Getting there is just a 5 minute walk.

Map Location
The exact location of Mangawhero Falls is hard to pinpoint.  It's just a small parking space at the side of the road which resembles an emergency parking lane.  Below is a reference map as to where I found this location:

Apologies for the map as the location / icon seemed to be floating nowhere.  Please zoom in further to show the road.  I had to display the map as shown to give a rough idea on where it is.  Anyway, there will be a signage at the entrance of the falls.  Please refer below:

Mangawhero Falls

If you're going to Turoa for a ski adventure, you'll going to drive along Mangawhero Falls.  You can stop by for a few minutes to view this waterfall.  If you're a tourist, then it's a good idea to stop by before going to Turoa.

It's just 5 minutes walk from Ohakune Mountain Road.

I got a chance to find this place so I took some shots.  When I was there, the sun is lighting Mt Ruapehu but it casts a shadow on the waterfall.  I had to use a Lee 0.9 Soft ND filter and a Lee 0.6 Hard ND filter to have Mt Ruapehu show up at the background.  If Mt Ruapehu gets the sun in the winter (with snow), the dynamic range will increase.

If you're a Lord of the Rings (LOTR) fan, then you're in for a treat!  This is the scene wherein Gollum tries to catch fish at a river.  Gollum then catches the fish and tries to subdue it by hitting the fish on the rocks.  This is a very famous LOTR movie scene thus is very easy to relate to.

Final Thoughts

For me, the waterfall isn't as amazing as Whangarei waterfalls or Rainbow waterfalls.  If you're not going this route, not going to ski at Turoa or not a Lord of the Rings fan, then probably you can skip this.  But if you're driving at Ohakune Mountain Road, it's best to just spare 15 minutes to find this place.

It's a good challenge as well for photographers to make the waterfall visible while retaining the details of Mt Ruapehu (as background).  It's harder during winter as Mt Ruapehu is covered with snow.

Location: Ohakune Mountain Road, Tongariro National Park, Tongariro National Park 4691, New Zealand
